The rules of using LingoHop
Last updated: 25 May 2026
Who we are
LingoHop is a learning-first hub for Comprehensible Input creators on YouTube. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the service.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use LingoHop.
- One account per person. Don't share sign-in links — anyone with the link can sign in as you.
- Keep your inbox secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
What you can and can't do
You agree not to:
- Scrape, redistribute, or resell content from the service.
- Reverse-engineer the recommender or use automated tools to inflate watch hours.
- Use the service for anything illegal, harmful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours.
Creator content
Videos on LingoHop are produced by independent creators on YouTube. We don't own them. When you watch, the YouTube embed player handles playback — YouTube's terms apply to the video itself. We curate, sort, and link videos but we aren't responsible for their accuracy or availability.
Free service
LingoHop is currently free. If we introduce paid features later, we'll be upfront about what costs money and what stays free, and you'll always have a chance to opt out before any charge.
No warranty
LingoHop is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, that recommendations will suit your level perfectly, or that any third-party video will stay available.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, LingoHop and its team aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from using (or being unable to use) the service.
Ending your account
You can stop using LingoHop at any time. Email [email protected] to delete your account. We may suspend or delete accounts that abuse the service, after a reasonable warning where we can.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make a material change, we'll bump the “last updated” date and, for big changes, email you before they take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be handled in the courts of England.
